Mike is an active part of Destin and has serviced as an Ambassador with both the Destin Chamber of Commerce and the Walton County Chamber of Commerce. He is a charter member and the past president of the Emerald Coast Parrot Heads. Mike has volunteered much of his time to environmental projects along the Emerald Coast. He has worked as a volunteer with the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge, the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance and The Emerald Coast Foundation.
